U. Devapriya Name: U. Devapriya Age: 13 years / 15.06.1997 Class: VIII standard Reason: Devapriya’s father was imprisoned after murdering her mother. With no relatives offering support, a social worker admitted her to Amaithi Illam in 2002. |  |
| S. Sathiya Name: S. Sathiya Age: 14 years / 17.05.1996 Class: VIII standard Reason: Orphaned at a young age, a social worker saw her pitiable state and admitted her to Amaithi Illam in 2008. |  |
| S. Kasthuri Name: S. Kasthuri Age: 15 years/ 04.06.1996 Class: XI standard Reason: Kasthuri’s father expired after serious illness and mother also suffers prolonged illness. She was admitted to the home to complete her education by a social worker in 2005 |  |
