Jegamathi Educational Trust sponsors many young men and women residing in Amaithi Illam in Chennai. These bright students are from the under-privileged section of our society who cannot afford higher education. Such youngsters find an envisioned path for their future with the help of Jegamathi Educational Trust. The details of the students who receive sponsorship from our trust are given below:

Name: B.C Sekar
Age: 17 years / 20.07.1993
Class: XI standard
Reason: On demise of his father, his mother was unable to give him quality education. She admitted Sekar the home in 2006.
B. Jaba
Name: B. Jaba
Age: 14 years / 31.01.1996
Class: IX standard
Reason: Mother, an agriculatural labourer, after she was widowed, admitted Jaba in the home in 2006.
U. Devapriya
Name: U. Devapriya Age: 13 years / 15.06.1997 Class: VIII standard Reason: Devapriya’s father was imprisoned after murdering her mother. With no relatives offering support, a social worker admitted her to Amaithi Illam in 2002.
S. Sathiya
Name: S. Sathiya
Age: 14 years / 17.05.1996
Class: VIII standard
Reason: Orphaned at a young age, a social worker saw her pitiable state and admitted her to Amaithi Illam in 2008.
S. Kasthuri
Name: S. Kasthuri
Age: 15 years/ 04.06.1996
Class: XI standard
Reason: Kasthuri’s father expired after serious illness and mother also suffers prolonged illness. She was admitted to the home to complete her education by a social worker in 2005
Government Higher Secondary School - Irunchirai
Kaviyan Foundation donated 4 acres of Land to the Government Higher Secondary School which was inaugurated on 23/01/2011 - Sunday, by Honourable Minister Thiru. Thangam Thenarasu - Minister for School Education - Government of Tamil Nadu, India.  The school is located in Virudhunagar (Dist), Thiruchuli (TK), Irunchirai village.
Ms. Mary Anjaliya
October- 2010: Donated a sum of Rs.10,000 for her BCA studies.
 
Mr. Joseph
October - 2010 : Donated a sum of Rs. 10000 to Mr. Joseph, for his MBA studies.
 
Junior National Tennikoit Championship
December-2008: Sponsored for the VELAMMAL XXIII Sub-junior National Tennikoit Championship for Boys and Girls, which is held at Viraganoor, Madurai, Tamilnadu, India.
 
Arulmigu Sundarasa Higher Secondary School
January 2007: Donated School Uniform to the Students. Also sponsored for the painting and maintenance work of the School building.

Jegamathi Educational Trust had taken care of the entire cost for the studies of the student Mr. Chinna Muthu for his Bachelor Degree in Saraswathi Narayanan College - Madurai

2012: Received a sum of Rs.20, 000 for his Diploma in Civil Engineering studies.
